We asked ourselves that same question back in 2010 when we transitioned from the broker-dealer world to launching our first RIA. The process was complex, time-consuming, and full of conflicting advice. But through that experience, we built not just one, but three successful RIAs—each with its own structure, team, and compliance systems.
Along the way, we realized something important: advisors don’t struggle with capability—they struggle with clarity. The regulatory path can be confusing, and most “consultants” add complexity instead of removing it. SimplyRIA was born to change that.
